I love cold therapy. Its so hard I'd rather do HIIT but the results are undeniable : you feel like a God after something like that. Apparently it raises testosterone.

Other side issues I'd like to get over: Acne, dandruff, tooth health (yellow, poor gums, gingivitis)

We are all just doing the best we can, with what we know, at any given time.

Red light therapy shows great promise in treating winter blues, improving skin tone, as well as boosting the overall rejuvenation powers of the body.

This is for real, I've even talked to chiropractors who claim it penetrates the bodies tissue and stimulates collagen production. No damaging UV rays

I have a bed, all I need is 800 dollars for the bulbs.

Here is a link to a colour therapy technique. It is very inexpensive and they do not sell the components. They show you how to make the gear and the only thing you really need to buy out of the ordinary is a regular incandescent bulb if you don't have any and the colour filters which are pretty cheap. His book and directions is 20 dollars shipped in the US.

I am experimenting with it now. I have the colour filters and am making my own projector. I have ordered the large manual with details on less important illnesses. It's basically foolproof. The worst that could happen is that you don't follow instructions and nothing happens.

At one point it was used by a lot of Doctors with a lot of success but Big Pharma's lawyers shut them down. Amazing what the b#st*rds are capable of.

Even though a number of Doctors and patients went to court to testify on it's efficacy. BS baffles brains is the policy of BP.

I used to live in northern Canada. You don't know the meaning of cold! ;)

My friend used to say that when he retired he was going to load his snowblower in the back of his pickup and drive south. He said he would settle down when he got to a place where someone said "What is that?" ; )

I've been to FLA four times. The second time was Orlando. It was oppressively hot. I would die in that heat/moisture. Brings to mind the saying that a car is a convenient container for carrying an air conditioner.

My wife wanted me to go to Disneyworld. Not a chance. Stand around in blistering heat just to "toss my cookies"?

You know I do (did) a variety of nutty sports like hang gliding paragliding kiteboarding and i'm a pro pilot, but the idea of paying money to mess with my adrenaline system, scare the **** out of me, in a completely out of control device, that is repeatedly subjected to these stresses all day is not likely to happen. I recognize that I am in the minority, but so be it.

you really do have to just be out in it.  as the fall comes around, I just start acclimating, I don't put on sweaters or jeans, I just get used to producing more heat, if I am cold I move faster.  I like doing cold therapy all year round if I can, even if its just jumping in a cool creek after a hike.  it helps if you are already super hot from doing exercise, then its a shock, but really just brings you back down to normal instead of possible lowering your temp.  I cant wait for this winter, there is a nice little creek on the way down from the mountains that shouldn't freeze over.
